Short Term Accommodation and Assistance (including the provision of respite care)

Participants are at the heart of everything we do. We engage with participants, their families and careers in the services and support we provide. We deliver NDIS Core and Capacity Building Supports based on participants goals and needs.

We provide integrated support for self-care, accommodation, food and activities in a center or group residence for short periods. At Careway support Services, we recognise that, from time to time, participants may require temporary comprehensive supports that are different from their usual arrangements. Our services include:

  • Short Term Accommodation (STA)/Long Term Accomodation – We have a fully furnished unit in Melton that will accommodate individuals looking for short term or long term stay.

STA/respite allows the opportunity for the participant to be supported by Careway Support Services whilst providing their carer with short term breaks from their usual caring responsibilities. The support items include all expenses in a 24-hour period including assistance with self-care or community access activities, accommodation, food and negotiated activities.

  • Respite services – This aims to support ongoing caring arrangements between participants and their carers.

Fees

The services and support you select determines the fees you have to pay. The fees are paid through your allocated NDIS funds.
We collaborate with you to develop an individual agreement, one that is tailored to meet your needs. There are no hidden charges. All areas of the support are well discussed before commencement and the payment process is straight forward with monthly statements.
